Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed by our friendly walking team of alpacas, where you’ll have the opportunity to choose your perfect walking companion. Before we set off, we’ll provide a comprehensive health and safety briefing to ensure your comfort and security during your time on the farm. Our team will guide you through the best practices for caring for your alpaca during the walk. Once you're ready, we'll begin our scenic stroll around the farm, including a visit to our beautiful conservation area.

 

The alpacas aren't the only animals you'll meet on your adventure. Edfords is also home to rare breed sheep and pigs, horses, goats, poultry, and waterfowl. As you walk, you'll have the chance to interact with these friendly creatures. Our playful piglets are roaming year-round, and during spring, keep an eye out for the adorable lambs!

 

The walk itself is an engaging and social experience, where you’ll learn all about the farm and its inhabitants. We’ve also set up several photo checkpoints along the way so you can capture the magic of the experience. The walk lasts approximately one hour, with the health and safety talk and alpaca interactions taking place beforehand. We recommend allowing 2 hours for the entire experience.
